I did quite a bit of research before buying this luggage set. There were lot of options and alternatives. I bought it for the look, quality and the durability.
So far, I have used all three bags in the set for one round trip from USA to India via Frankfurt. The bags looks solid after the trip. Just to give an idea on what these bags go thru in such trips, none of the average quality bags last more than two round trips, including some Samsonite bags. Any sub-$100 bags are gone to the trash after one round trip.
I am very happy with the quality of the material and build.
