I took this with me to South Africa for my honeymoon. It handled carpet, it handled street, and it handled just about every other service you could throw at it. I checked it and was terrified but it handled the baggage people's punishment just fine. It was also extremely easy to maneuver and easy on the wrist. This is made for European travel. Packs enough for 10 days.
