The bag looks great and it is well built.
Unfortunately it is significantly larger than the dimensions specified in the description, it will not pass any carry on limits check. If it is important for you to use the bag as a carry on look for another one.Works great, not really carry on size but you can sneak it by By HLKNYC
just took this on my first trip. It works great and does stand upright (doesn't tip) even if you put a laptop bag on the handle, so i was happy about that. I was also happy w the amount of space and the pockets on the inside of the flap. the only issue is that it is about 1 inch wider and about 1.5 inches thicker than American Airlines allows for carry on baggage. But you can probably get away w it but if they actually ask you to put it in the sizer thingy, it won't fit. so you are taking a risk if truly being carry on size is a priority for you. the height (longest dimension) by the way is not the issue, it's the width and thickness front to back that exceed. not sure about other airlines. One other thing i like about this bag, as compared to Victorinox is that the handle has two bars so you can rest a bag against it, whereas the Victorinox single bar style bag will not support a laptop bag which will fall right off.Perfect fit for overhead storage By R. I've used this bag for about ten flights so far, and it is the largest size that will fit in the overhead storage. If I over pack a bit, some muscle will be needed to get it in & out, but it will fit. It may look too long putting it in narrow side facing you, but the door will close. I have never had an airline or security employee tell me it's too big.
(Disclosure, all my flights have been on a Southwest 737).
Aside for fitting overhead, so far the quality has held up.
