My wife wanted a full-size bag that had to be light. This one weighs in at about 8 lbs. It's roomy with extra outside pockets and tho we haven't had it long appears to be quite durable. This is one great piece of luggage. I'm over 60 years old, and needed a suitcase that I could lift easily by myself. This is perfect! It's quite roomy with plenty of pocketed sections, and it's expandable, too. SInce it's so light-weight, there's very little substance between the inner liner and the suitcase body. I really do think it's quite sturdy, however, but that's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.
