Customer Reviews:

Delsey By hdyii
Bought this suitcase to take to Europe where I spent 8 weeks this summer. Rollers seldom rolled straight. Felt like I was carrying a bale of hay with me all summer. One of the rollers finally stuck completely. On trip home another of the wheels completely snapped off. Could have blamed this on airline, but didn't notice until I arrived home (since it wouldn't roll anyway). Contacted Delsey who sent me to their local repair facility. Was accused in front of others by these insensible people of trying to defraud Delsey. Totally embarrassed so just gave up. Only paid $100.00 or so for it, but really didn't expect it to be pure junk.

Fine on the first vacation, disastrous on the second and third By Eve
I bought this about two years ago for a vacation to the Caribbean, and on the carpeted floors of airports and cruise ships, this suitcase did fine. For my second trip, however, I took the case through an airport parking lot and realized just how terrible those tiny wheels were at handling anything rougher than carpet.

At first I thought that I had broken the wheels, because I hadn't had any trouble on my previous trip. Upon examining them now, however, I can see that there is absolutely nothing wrong with them. They are just very badly designed. The casters spin in all directions so that it is possible to move it upright, but this means that when you pull the case at a slant, the wheels take the path of least resistance, and essentially retract. In this state, it drags along the ground instead of rolling comfortably. It is impossible to manoeuvre that way. To make things worse, if you are pushing it in its upright state and the weight inside the suitcase is not balanced properly, it careens off course constantly, even on flat surfaces.

This suitcase may as well not have any wheels at all.

If anyone else has had this experience and has fixed the problem, I welcome your solutions! In its current state, it's pretty much unusable, but I would rather fix it than buy a new one.

good case, though it ages fast By J. Dotson
i've used it for two domestic trips and its gotten very scratched up, but the wheels/handle operate fine with out any signs of wear. i'm overall happy with it.
